Web Designer based in Bellingham
I'm a sucker for a good cat GIF, I'll always say 'yes' to an almond milk latte, I'm always looking for ways to promote sustainability, and I want to hear all about your project.
I’m drawn to UX because of my eye for modern visual design, interest in universal usability, and fascination with human behavior. Learn more:

UX Design Process
Define the problem, business needs, and goals. Perform stakeholder interviews. Put together research plan.
Collect quantitative and qualitative data to understand the target user, including their needs, pain points, and existing mental models. Research methods often include: user interviews, competitive analysis, heuristic evaluation, affinity mapping, and more.
Brainstorm and sketch possible solutions. Develop user stories. Build IA framework and user flow. Perform card sort study on existing and proposed information architecture.
Building upon the successful models found in the planning phase, create wireframes and prototypes from low to high fidelity.
Testing of designs should begin early and happen often so time spent going down the wrong design path is minimized. User testing of sketches, wireframes, and prototypes is primarily task based.
Iterate through research, planning, design, and testing phases. Modify designs until validated and project is ready for development. Once project is launched, analyze effectiveness of implementation.
